3 Fun Projects to do with a Preschooler

It is September school holidays in Singapore. Although it is a short holiday, keeping the kid busy without getting bored is not so easy. While I plan different activities to engage him during the day time, here are some of the ideas which we did before. These can be helpful for you if you look for activities to do with a preschooler. Even these activities are good for toddlers to keep them happy!

A Balloon drum

This is a noisy idea. But my kid loves to have a balloon drum whenever there is a burst balloon skin. To make this drum, you don’t need many skills. Just wrap the balloon skin over a cup or an empty tin using a rubber band. Your kid will have a new toy to enjoy at least for few hours!

DIY Recycling bin

Recycling is a great cause to teach the kids from their younger age. By having a recycling bin at home, they will learn the value of recycling and treasure the earth. We made a recycling bin using an empty cardboard box. It was a lovely idea and my kid knows that we can recycle certain items.

Kids don’t want a special reason to party! I know that with experience of my kid. These days he loves pretend playing. So, a party hat is an easy way to help him to play with his toys creating a pretend party at home.

Check this easy DIY party hat. You will only need some colour papers and a band only!

Above are really simple and easy projects to do with a kid. I am sure you will have great time with your kid if you try these fun projects!
