Playground and Teh Tarik Halia 4in1at Desaru, Malaysia

I am sharing one more activity from our Desaru Holiday. Our experience at Desaru Lotus Beach Resort was really exciting. Son had a great time engaging in different activities including flying a kite. The children’s playground is another attraction in this resort and it was safe and suitable for young kids.

In this post, I want to share a few moments from Desaru Lotus Resort’s playground and how kids can enjoy their time in playful activities. For all activities, check Desaru for kids post.

The resort environment is attractive, spacious, and with trees where possible. The playground is situated next to the swimming pool and there are some trees too.

Though the play equipment looks faded, it was good enough for the kid to stretch his arms and legs while engaging in outdoor play.

My new Tea Experience : NONA Teh Tarik Halia 4 in 1

NONA Teh Tarik Halia 4 in 1

At the resort’s retail shop, among the souvenirs and snacks, I found this 4-in-1 tea from Malaysia. This tea is named Teh Tarik Halia which is Ginger Milk Tea. And it is a 4-in-1 instant milk tea. I am a tea lover and I like trying different teas. I have different 3-in-1 tea and coffee at home. But, I wanted to try 4 in 1 Teh Tarik Halia during the resort stay thinking to buy a few packets to bring back home. So I bought 2 sachets of this Teh Tarik Halia.

I made a cup of Ginger Milk tea and the taste was awesome. The 4 main ingredients in this tea are tea leaves, creamer, sugar, and ginger. Because it is an instant tea, I thought it is good for me to use during my workshops and classes when I want tea. And, I decided to buy a few more before returning to Singapore. BUT, I truly forgot it even though I bought a souvenir from this shop on our last day just before the departure.

I checked online. There are Teh Tarik Halia 4 in 1 that I can buy in Singapore, but different brands. I will try a new brand! ðŸ™‚

How was your week so far?

  1. The playground looks like fun. It’s nice the resort thinks of play areas for young children. Sorry you forgot to buy your 4-in-one tea. I hope you like the brands in Singapore. #MMBC

  2. That ginger milk tea looks and sounds delicious. I love tea too, and I love trying new flavors and types. It’s hard to find milk teas here though, so I don’t know much about them. Your son looks like he had fun in the playground. It’s always fun watching kids climb around. And who doesn’t love a slide? I hope you have a happy T day Amilia and a great week ahead too. hugs-Erika

  3. What a lovely, colorful, and inspiring playground. Good for exercise and good for trying new and different things on the various parts. Great that the resort thought of the children.

I have never heard of that tea. I have never heard of 3 in one, either. This was new and very interesting for me. I hope you find some of the 4 in 1 you like now that you are back home. Thanks for sharing your son on this playground set and your 4 in 1 tea with us for T this Tuesday, dear Amila.

  4. Hi Amila, glad you had fun at the vacation resort. I am not a tea drinker, although I come from England, but I’m glad you found a tea you like. Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie

  5. That playground looks great! And your son looks like he is having fun! So convenient to use that tea and it looks yummy! Happy T day! Hugs! deb

  6. Your son looks like he’s having fun at the playground. Good that they planted trees for some shade. Here, they seem to build playgrounds in the middle of a field with no shade! Your ginger milk tea sounds delicious. Happy T Day

  7. What a beautiful playground at the resort. I bet that is really nice for parents to have a safe place for their children to play.
I enjoyed reading about your new tea. I love trying new teas. This sounds like an all-in-one coffee that my husband bought at the Asian Grocery Store. He thought it would be great for hiking but the taste was not to his liking. I did look up the Teh Tarik Halia 4 in 1 and it is available on Amazon. I don’t take sweetener in my tea but I would still be interested in trying this.
    Happy Tea Day,
    Kate

  8. That looks like a fun play ground!
And your 4-in-one tea sounds interesting. I myself don’t like ginger but the concept of having all ingredients in one sachet sounds very convenient.
    Happy belated T-Day,
    Hugs,
    Lisca

  9. My comment hasn’t published so I’m back for another try. I love the play ground. I don’t drink tea but we have taken all in one coffees away with us – very handy. Belated Happy T Day, Chrisx
