The days are very hot. A cold drink is always a good treat to quench the thirst. These days we can see fresh mangoes in the market. Usually, I like honey mangoes due to their delicious and irresistible taste. It seems like mango season. Then why don’t we eat and drink more fresh mangoes? I started making mango drinks. 🙂 This is one of the mango recipes during this mango season and such drinks are a great treat to beat the heat! This is how I make a Mango smoothie!

Mango Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

2 ripe mangoes

1 banana

1 cup yogurt

1 cup fresh milk

water as required

Method

Peel the skin of banana and mangoes. Dice into small cubes.

Add mangoes and banana to a blender. Add yogurt on top of it. Add some water and blend until smooth.

Finally, add fresh milk and stir.

Add more water until you get the required consistency.

Check the taste and add a sweetener if required. I usually don’t add any sweetener because the honey mangoes are really sweet.

Keep in refrigerator for few minutes.

The mango smoothie is ready to serve. 🙂

  1. Your mango smoothie sounds delicious. I love mango but never thought to buy it for a smoothie. We usually use strawberries. Mango is expensive here in the States. Next time I think about it, I will try some in a smoothie.
    Happy Tea Day,

  7. Thanks for sharing that fab recipe. It sounds really delicious. I’ll definitely try it when the mangoes become a bit more affordable here.

  8. Your mango smoothie sounds so good. I like making smoothies, but I use frozen fruit so the smoothie is very cold. As we would say in Boston, wicked cold! Happy T Day

  9. I love mango smoothies! When we can get them I cut up and freeze and then pretty much make them the same way! Delicious! Happy T Day.

  10. I put all kinds of things in my smoothies, whatever fruit is in season, often bananas as they are cheap, blueberries too, and I add spinach and kale to mine. Sorry I’m late, having commenting problems with blogger.
    Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx
