We tried another simple art at home. This time we used okra/ladies finger or ‘bandakka‘ (as we call in Sri Lanka) to make a simple drawing.Well,I dont have good photos to share as I simply use my phone to capture some moments while paying more attention to teach my son.

What you simply need forVegetable Stamping with Okra are,

-Okra and some Paint

Simply cut a side of okra. Then it will look like a flower pattern.

For our son’s first Birthday, we used ‘Animals’ as the theme of the Birthday Party. It was a DIY first Birthday party and most of the items were done by me. Lately, I thought of sharing these DIY tutorials if it is helpful for someone.

Throwing a kids birthday party is really awesome and fun. This was our first time organizing a party and I had a great time arranging it. Instead of buying a party banner, I decided to go for a DIY Birthday Banner. To make the banner to match with animals theme, I used few animal pictures when we hang it on the wall.

DIY Birthday Party Door Banner

This is our simple and easy DIY Birthday door banner for the First Birthday Party. Party theme was Animals. So I used a cute Panda for the door banner to make it match with the theme. At first I thought of using a photo of a monkey. Then, decided a panda is much better.
Although I don’t have step by step photos , making this animal themed door banner is pretty simple.

Here is how to make this easy DIY Birthday Party door banner.
